LEGAL CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS IN SOUTH AFRICA LAUNCHED!

Finally and after 14 months of negotiations Perfect Gay Honeymoons are delighted to announce the expansion of our CP Abroad portfolio. We have signed an exclusive deal with the Serenity Guest House, Kommetjie, Cape Town, to organise legally recognised in the UK, same-sex Civil Unions. Further details will be added to the site in the month of February, as well as a number of ways of booking, either direct with us. Or through your local independent travel agent. Perfect Gay Honeymoons are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at another of the successful Pink Wedding Days Civil Partnership and Wedding Shows. This time on Sunday 21st October 2007 at the Botanical Gardens, Central Birmingham. We will be exhibiting in conjunction with UK Civil Partnership planning specialists "Perfect Partnerships" . UK & IRELAND NATIONAL FINALISTS!

Two members of the Perfect Gay Honeymoons Staff were nominated in the UK and Ireland Travel Trade Gazette Agents Awards 2007, held at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester.
Helen Doyle was nominated for the Specialist Agent of the Year Award and Danny Waine was shortlisted in the Young Agent of the Year Category. The awards were presented by TV Presenter Jeff Brazier, at an event attended by some of the most famous names and brands in the UK Travel and Tourism Industry.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! TO PERFECT GAY HONEYMOONS

Well, what an amazing twelve months it has been... From the initial launch back in early 2006, to the anticipation of our first honeymoon couples departing at the start of the 2006 Summer season, to being the first UK travel company to offer Legal Civil Partnerships Abroad and to top it off as award winners (see Nov 06); it has been quite simply, a fantastic year. We couldn't have done it without you! Sam from Kent was just one of many happy clients who has booked with us over the past twelve months, she described the view from her Caribbean water bungalow as "simply breathtaking and over the moon that Helen recommended the property".  Raise your glass, as we've treated ourselves to a well earned glass of champagne each... Here's to the next successful twelve months!

AWARD WINNING HONEYMOONS AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS ABROAD

On Friday 3rd November 2006, we were stunned to pick up the 'Midland Weekly Media Award for Small Business of the Year 2006'. Being nominated in the category was a good enough excuse for a team night out, but to walk away with the prize was far more than expected. Managing Director, Helen Doyle, was delighted to receive the accolade and said "this award is welcomed on behalf of all of the team that has worked so hard to put our program together and our clients and their families that have booked with us during the Summer 2006 season".

FULL 'CP ABROAD' SERVICE LAUNCHED - THE UK'S FIRST!

After months of research, long hours and endless phone calls to embassies around the world, we are delighted to launch our CP Abroad service, twelve months earlier than planned. We have strengthened our ties with gay-friendly wedding co-ordinators around the world who are preparing to receive an influx of enquiries from couples who wish to tie the knot, somewhere different. Currently, we are able to offer ceremonies in Canada, New Zealand and in Vermont, USA, where the services will be recognised under UK law as Civil Partnerships upon return. We are proud to be leading the way in this field and offering gay and lesbian couples the chance to seal their love for one another overseas. The wheels are already in motion for the anticipated go ahead of South African Civil Unions later this year, we have co-ordinators on stand-by ready to receive any potential enquiries, once the residency legalities have been clarified.
