Perfect Gay Honeymoons has an unrivalled list of overseas civil partnership and commitment ceremony locations worldwide. As the UK's first travel company to organise legal civil partnerships abroad we are proud to be at the forefront of introducing new overseas locations for the gay and lesbian community. Our service was launched shortly after the introduction of the UK Civil Partnership Act back in December 2005 and we have been building up our portfolio of venues ever since.

We are unlike other UK travel companies, in that your Civil Partnership is the most important part of your holiday. We will work with you every step of the way to plan your big day to the finest detail.

There is much conflicting information online about where Civil Partnerships overseas can take place and be legally recognised here in the UK. Basically your Civil Partnership location must be listed on Schedule 20 of the Civil Partnership Act or fit other criteria outlined in the Civil Partnership Act. Following extensive research in to the locations legalities and clarifications with the UK government departments we can currently offer the following locations abroad: South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and Vermont (USA).

If the Civil Partnership location listed above isn't shown, don't worry, we also have access to hundreds of worldwide Commitment Ceremony locations. All you will need to do is take time to pop down to your local registry office here in the UK and sign the legal paperwork to ensure that your Civil Partnership has been legally registered. Then we can organise a full Commitment Ceremony celebration overseas. Although these are not legally recognised here in the UK, it does offer you the opportunity to celebrate your commitment to one another amongst friends and beautiful surroundings, unavailable here in the UK.

For couples who wish for an intimate "Just the Two of Us" ceremony we have small quiet beach locations, for medium-sized groups there are boutique guest houses which can be used for exclusive use and for larger parties we have an array of garden locations and larger hotel venues.

All of the suppliers that we work with have been hand-picked for their high-quality service standards and gay-friendly attitude. In some locations where a local minister isn't available we can even arrange for our flying celebrant to accompany you from the UK! All of our holidays are fully ATOL and ABTA protected, affording you complete peace of mind. Of course, we can also organise your guests travel arrangements too!

We will initially work with you to find out exactly the right location and venue to suit your requirements. Once we have the ceremony arrangements confirmed we can build your holiday around it. In the lead up to your big day, you are in control we will help you plan and organise your reception, booking everything from the cake, to the florist, to photographer and much more. This ensures that the build up is as stress-free as possible nothing is left to chance. We will also advise you and help you book your wedding insurance, wedding dress travel box to transport the brides dresses (where required), hotel airport parking and much more.

Upon arrival at your destination our local in-resort wedding coordinator will make contact with you to take care of the final details. They are experienced wedding coordinators who are used to dealing with the last minute stresses of brides and grooms. On the big day itself our coordinator will also be in attendance to ensure that everything goes accordingly to plan.
