Perfect Gay Honeymoons Director Danny is an overseas civil partnerships and honeymoons specialist. Alongside business partner Helen, he has been at the forefront of launching civil partnerships abroad and honeymoons for same-sex couples since the introduction of the Civil Partnership Act 2005. Danny's role includes extensively researching CP's abroad and lobbying the government to get up and coming destinations recognised. As well as expanding business contacts both overseas and within the gay and lesbian community. He understands the needs and frustrations of same-sex couples when planning their CP and honeymoon.

Originally from Middlesbrough in the North East of England; Danny recently graduated from Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, with a First Class Honours Degree in Travel & Tourism Management; and in 2008 completed his CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

Summer 2007 saw Danny shortlisted for the UK & Ireland Travel Trade Gazette 'Young Agent of the Year Award', held at Manchester's Hilton Hotel.

In 2006 he was awarded the 'Bella Rangel Callen ITT Award' for top Travel & Tourism Student in the UK and since then has been featured in various media including the Travel Trade Gazette and Travel Weekly magazines, various national and local newspapers and BBC Radio. He was also attributed a number of quotes in the publication "A Very Pink Wedding" by Nicola Hill; giving advice on the legalities of Civil Partnerships abroad.

Before joining Perfect Weddings & Honeymoons previous roles include hotel customer service experience in the Grand Teton National Park (Wyoming) USA, in sales for an overseas weddings specialist tour operator, and other customer service and sales roles in various retail businesses. Danny is a keen traveler in recent months has visited many popular locations including Jamaica, Slovenia, South Africa, Mauritius and Cyprus. He is often asked to speak at various industry conferences including various Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) events.
